In parallel, he leads the Finance and Human Capital functions at Amana Healthcare Bahrain, ensuring strong financial stewardship and the development of a high-performing workforce to support operational excellence.
Khalid’s journey with M42 reflects a deliberate progression through the organization’s evolution and geographic expansion. He began within G42’s healthcare vertical, where he contributed to the foundation of data-driven, technology-enabled healthcare initiatives. Following the formation of M42 through the merger of G42 Healthcare and Mubadala Health, he transitioned to a corporate role in Abu Dhabi, working at the center of strategy and global partnerships. There, he supported enterprise-wide strategic planning, built international collaborations, and contributed to scaling M42’s platform across markets. Today, in Bahrain, he leads on-the-ground strategy – bringing together his experience to drive localized growth aligned with national healthcare priorities.
Prior to joining M42, Khalid was at Intel Corporation, where he served as a Digital Transformation Business Lead, advising governments and large enterprises across the Middle East on artificial intelligence, data-driven innovation, and emerging technologies. He worked closely with Fortune 100 partners to create and shape industry-leading business transformation solutions leveraging computer vision, intelligent edge, IoT, and robotics.
Earlier, he worked at Pfizer, gaining experience in regulatory affairs and supporting cross-functional initiatives across the Africa & Middle East region.
